Today’s Thought
I find it quite telling that most people, when criticizing their family, must absolutely start with “I love my mom/dad/aunt/grandma, BUT…” - sometimes at the beginning or end of each sentence.
I can’t help but think back “Um, lady, I don’t think it’s me you’re trying to convince there..”
(No, this is not aimed at anybody in particular, I just happened to hear it five times in the past 2 days.)
